This happy, bright eyed mama is most definitely not the mama I was 10 years ago when I started my journey into motherhood!  I was exhausted, lonely, sick, and honestly, scared of everything going wrong!  

I began my journey into health and wellness after a long battle with Lyme disease, but the resources and support you can find now were nowhere to be found then.  It was exhausting trying to figure it all out. And honestly, many days just left me paralyzed with either too much information or not enough.  

It wasn’t until my best friend called me over 5 years ago and asked me if I knew what essential oils were that I started looking them up.  Weren’t they just nice smelling fragrance?  

She told me that she had put them on her kids feet and they’d finally slept after some really tough nights.  I remember thinking – uh, you put something on their feet for their cough?!…oooooooooook.  


But then I gave them a try.  And boy did it feel like I was figuring everything out on my own.  

It does not have to be hard!

I have to admit that I had my doubts about essential oils, and I love natural cure agents, but they always take soooo long.  I have experimented now with 2 essential oils that have me thinking much more positively about this natural way of living. One day when I was experiencing the onset of a true stomach problem, that hot feeling of something going very wrong, I was encouraged to use the digestive blend directly on my abdomen and within 10 , yes 10, minutes the feeling was gone and did not return.  I face this stomach issue fairly often so this is exciting. – Marilyn D.

I have a premixed jar of “sleepy time” oils with coconut oil that I pull out at bedtime every night.  It’s part of our nightly routine with the kiddos.
